Latvian Memorial Park in the Catskills

The Latvian Memorial Park is a Latvian Cemetary in the Catskills. It was established by the Latvian Disabled Veterans Association in the 1960os.

Organized burial ceremonies take place twice a year: Memorial Day weekend and in October. The next ceremony is Sunday, May 25, 2008, 12 noon. (A candlelight service takes place Saturday evening (May 24) at dusk.) Pastor Olgerts Sniedze will, most likely, be presiding. Everyone is welcome!
